Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), Malaysia’s national oil and gas company, is developing the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) in Johor, Malaysia – one of the largest of the kind in the world constructed at a single time. This project includeds the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project with a 300,000 barrels-per-day and a petrochemical complex with a combined 3.609 million metric tons-per-year production capacity.
LUXSOLAR has been chosen as partner for supply AWL beacons for several structures in this huge plant, all beacons approved and certified by the Local Civil Aviation Authority (CAAM), a mandatory requirement for install compliant beacons.
In 2016 for three units LUXSOLAR provided complete AWL systems suitable for hazardous area composed by MIOL-B (2.000cd red flashing during the night) and LIOL-B (32cd red steady during the night).
