TIM / Telecom telecommunication towers use LUXSOLAR products as Aircraft Warning Lights. In Lampedusa there are several structures where these products have been installed to appropriately signal the presence of the pylon as an obstacle to air navigation.
Some towers have LUXSOLAR Low Intensity LIOL-B AWL emits red light with an intensity of 32 cd at night and can be easily installed and put into operation. The product includes a twilight sensor to allow the light to turn on automatically at sunset and turn off at sunrise.
Some other towers like in Capo Grecale and Capo Ponente instead use LUXSOLAR LIOL-B KIT. This KIT, specifically created for this particular type of application, easy and quick to install, is composed of one or more LIOL-B type AWLs (fixed red light 32cd for night signalling), control panel and twilight sensor.
