Rome-Ciampino International Airport "G.B. Pastine" is the secondary International Airport of Rome, after Rome-Fiumicino Airport "Leonardo Da Vinci".
It is a joint civilian, commercial and military airport situated 12km south southeast of central Rome; it is an important hub for many low-cost flight companies and headquarter of the "31° Stormo" and the "2° Reparto Genio" of Italian Air Force.
LUXSOLAR has been asked to provide for this airport two different products: first its LED Airport Beacon L801A, used to indicate to pilots in flight the presence of the airport and then to warn the presence of lighting towers within the airport site, its LIOL-B KIT system composed of Low Intensity Obstruction Lights Type B (32cd red steady burning).
