KEFALONIA AIRPORT

Kefalonia Airport "Anna Pollatou" in an airport on the island of Kefalonia, in Greece.

The airport opened in 1971 to serve the municipality of Leivathos, but in the last years, thanks to an increasing touristic traffic, Kefalonia airport has become one of the main hubs (along with the other 12 airports serving main Greece locations).

In 2015 the privatisation of Kefalonia Airport and 13 other regional airports of Greece was finalised with the signing of the agreement between the Fraport AG/Copelouzos Group joint venture and raw state privatisation fund. 

LUXSOLAR, has been contacted to provide its LIOL-B KIT Aircraft Warning Light system also for this airport, as well as for the other aiports managed by Fraport who have choose LUXSOLAR as supplier.
